Capabilities

GSL’s Low Voltage Systems Department can design, install, and maintain all low voltage services for your project needs. Our systems group is certified in many major structured cabling solutions and manufacturers. The Systems Department has full-time, inhouse Professional Engineers (PE) and RCDDs dedicated to the design of these systems with full CAD support. The following is a summary of the systems we currently offer and maintain:

Voice & Data

GSL maintains a BICSI corporate membership with certified technicians. We can provide all of your backbone/horizontal copper as well as fiber optic cabling needs—both inside and outside plant.

NETWORK SOLUTIONS

GSL can provide a fully functional network solution. This may include network switches, network servers, wireless access points (WAP), UPS's and other miscellaneous networking equipment. We can coordinate with IT Departments to offer any support an owner may require.

FIRE ALARM

GSL has licensed and trained installers and can provide most major fire alarm systems. Along with new installation, we can coordinate the servicing of existing systems.

Video Surveillance System (VSS)

From robust outdoor cameras for harsh climates to discreet products for sensitive environment’s, our factory certified GSL team can provide them all. The cameras and
systems we provide have a number of capabilities – HDTV, Wide Angle (180 degrees), night vision, PTZ, infrared, motion detection, audio detection, tampering alarms, etc. 

Access Control

GSL specializes as a certified installer of Paxton access control systems. Their Net2 is an advanced PC based access control solution. It offers centralized administration and control of sites from one to hundreds of doors and with up to 10,000 users. The system
provides the ability to tailor access privileges to groups or individuals quickly and easily using our intuitive, user-friendly software. Event reports can be generated in a few clicks and the single-door architecture makes installing and maintaining the system easy. Advanced features such as site graphics, IP camera integration and 'Triggers and Actions' further extend the capabilities of this cutting-edge system.
