LSR Preserve Center

Part of the Grand Teton National Park…

the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve was designed to develop ecologically friendly facilities required for the new use of the Park’s beautiful locale. The preserve, including the 7,573 ft sq. ft. visitor center dedicated on June 21, 2008, is the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified property in Wyoming and only the fifty-second Platinum rating in the LEED program. GSL provided all electrical work for the project including power, lighting and lighting control. The state-of-the-art, completely automated lighting control system included occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting, time of day settings as well as time of year for opening and closing the season. All programming was done by GSL under the direction of the Architect and Owner, and the facility earned all 17 LEED energy points.
