Timpanogos Wastewater Reclamation Facility Expansion
This expansion project included…
the construction of a new headworks building with flow measurement, screening & grit removal, a new influent pumping station, the conversion of eight existing oxidation ditches into bioreactors with partition walls, submerged mixers, submersible pumps and diffused aeration.
In addition, two blower buildings, two secondary clarifiers, a return activated sludge (RAS) pump station and a solids dewatering facility with dry polymer pumps, belt filter presses, and conveyor systems were also constructed.
