located in North Las Vegas, Clark County Detention Center North consists of three primary building structures. The Housing Building is a 1,000 bed unit outfitted with minimum security features. The Administrative building entails all of the facilities to accommodate intake and release staging areas. The Utility building includes the central utility plant, maintenance shop, and additional warehouse space. GSL Electric was tasked with the job of providing full electrical work in such a way that maximized the design with the utmost efficiency, allowing the facility to open in 2009.
