Lincoln Elementary School
In 2016 construction began…
at Lincoln Elementary School to provide an entirely new school facility for the students. The previously existing facility was built in 1955 and was challenged by issues related to its age.
The new buildings were constructed adjacent to the older buildings, at the site of a memorial park for a pilot who gave his life to save the school. 2 buildings comprise the new school. The entry building includes administrative offices, multipurpose room, and kindergarten classrooms. The classrooms for the remaining grades are housed in the second building. Following the construction of the new school, the older facility was demolished to allow for the development of the new Raynor Hebert Memorial Park.
