This solar field site features…
a specialized control system. It is activated by the sun’s rays and follows the pattern of the sun. Several 480v motors drive the panels. As the sun moves across the sky, the panels follow the sun.
GSL provided and performed four major tests to ensure that the panels worked properly and were all functional. GSL’s work was all on the DC side, including testing all the cabling, combiner boxes, and plugged in all of the solar arrays. GSL also completed a sister project nearby called Red Hills Solar.
